The fellowship integrates weekly individual supervision, rigorous seminars, and hands-on clinical work with a diverse New York City client population. Faculty at CPP—composed of experienced psychologists—provide guidance rooted in relational, contemporary, and trauma-informed approaches.

“This fellowship is ideal for clinicians who want to deepen their psychodynamic thinking while strengthening their clinical identity,” said Dr. Randy Nolte, Clinical Director at CPP. “We intentionally structure the program so fellows feel supported, challenged, and connected to a community of thoughtful practitioners.”

Applicants must hold, or be on track to complete, a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology by the start of the fellowship in 2026.

CPP will also be offering virtual information sessions giving prospective applicants the opportunity to meet current supervisors and postdoctoral fellows and ask questions about the program’s structure and expectations. Session dates will be posted on the CPP website when available.

The full fellowship announcement—including eligibility, curriculum, supervision structure, compensation details, and application instructions—can be found on the CPP website under the Hiring section.
