REDMOND, WA --- Doxa Church invites the Eastside community to celebrate Christmas through three special services on Christmas Eve, December 24. The services, scheduled at 2:30 PM, 4:15 PM, and 6:00 PM, will feature candlelight, Christmas carols, children's programming, and a message about God's redemptive work in history.
This year's Christmas theme, "Finding Jesus," explores how the real story of Christmas is not about people finding God, but about God stepping into our world to find us.
"Everyone is searching for something: meaning, peace, identity, and hope that lasts," said a church representative. "This Christmas, we remember that our faith does not begin with us. It is divine mercy that reaches down to us. Whether you are skeptical, searching, or simply weary, Jesus is not just someone to find, but the One who came to find us."
