DALLAS, TX — Lovers Lane United Methodist Church invites the Dallas community to celebrate the Christmas season through multiple worship services, special Advent events, and meaningful community outreach opportunities. The church's "Songs of Christmas" theme will guide the congregation through a season of hope, peace, joy, and love found in Jesus Christ.
"At Lovers Lane, our mission is loving ALL people into a relationship with Jesus Christ," said Dr. Stan Copeland, Senior Pastor. "Throughout this Advent season, we want to provide opportunities for our community to experience the true meaning of Christmas through worship, service, and meaningful connection."
Christmas Eve Services
Lovers Lane UMC will offer multiple Christmas Eve services on Tuesday, December 24, with options for families, traditional and modern worship preferences:
• 9:00 AM: Deaf Christmas Pageant (online only at llumc.org/live)
• 10:00 AM: Family Ministry Service with Live Nativity
• 5:00 PM: Walnut Hill Worship and Traditional Worship with Communion
• 6:00 PM: Modern Worship
• 7:00 PM: Traditional Worship with Communion
All services (except the Deaf Christmas Pageant) will be available both in person and online at llumc.org/live.
Special Advent Events
Joyful Noise: Sunday, December 7 at 11:00 AM. A powerful worship experience featuring fresh takes on beloved Christmas songs. Continental breakfast sponsored by the Lovers Lane Foundation.
Candlelight Carols: Sunday, December 14 at 6:00 PM. A joyful Christmas celebration featuring the Sanctuary Choir, KIDSing Children's Choir, Handbell Ensemble, and Imperial Brass performing John Rutter's "Gloria."
Everybody's Christmas: Friday, December 19 at 6:00 PM. More than 400 people experiencing homelessness or who were formerly incarcerated will be invited to celebrate Christmas with a seated hot meal, warm coats, essential items bags, worship service, and photos with Santa.
Throughout the season, the church will also host the Lovers Lane Living Room every Sunday morning in Watson Hall, offering crafts, food, and fellowship. Special guests Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit on December 21.

Regular Sunday worship services are held at 8:15 AM (Traditional), 9:30 AM (Thrive Modern Worship and Deaf Fellowship at Walnut Hill), and 11:00 AM (Crosswalk Modern Worship, African Fellowship, Traditional Worship, and Walnut Hill Worship).
