ARHG Foundation’s 2025 Festival of FUN: Accessible Event In Wollongong Announced

The ARHG Foundation is bringing the annual Festival of FUN to Wollongong for the first time in its history. After two successful years on the Gold Coast, the third annual 2025 Festival of FUN is set to be one of the largest events of its kind in Australia. This unique celebration promotes inclusion, accessibility, and community through music, entertainment, and interactive activities designed for people with and without disabilities.

The festival’s Director and Founder, David “Macca” McFarland, shares his inspiration: “I’ve been in the disability space as a volunteer for over 25 years, and what we’ve found is that there are no events like this, especially for families. So we wanted to make an event where everyone comes together—to create a space that’s loving, caring, and inclusive.”

The 2025 Festival of FUN will feature engaging activities that include a family-friendly petting zoo, where attendees can interact with adorable animals in a welcoming environment. People can also watch or join in with accessible games and sports designed for all abilities.
