Yuba City Addiction Treatment For Active Military Personnel: New IOP Announced
Addiction Resource Center is pleased to announce that it is now partnered with TriCare – a specialized military insurer – to provide improved addiction treatment and mental health care for active duty U.S. military personnel. Through this partnership, the trusted treatment center hopes that service members will be better able to access high-quality, evidence-based treatment while maintaining their military commitments.

Addiction Resource Center has worked closely with the military insurer to develop their new TriCare-approved Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The addiction clinic believes that an IOP, by nature, is the most proper choice for active duty personnel, as it offers structured care for those individuals who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy, but without the constraints of inpatient rehab.
As such, their new program is designed to address the unique challenges faced by active duty personnel, including deployment stress, PTSD, and reintegration difficulties.
The experienced clinical team at Addiction Resource Center has also developed their IOP to address the addiction and substance abuse issues that are most commonly faced among active service members.
Their TriCare-approved IOP provides a flexible schedule with evening and weekend sessions, ensuring that military members can receive care without disrupting their duties. Their IOP is also grounded in evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma-Informed Care – which their clinical team believes will work in tandem to address and resolve the heightened pressures and traumas of military life; those that often lead to reliance on substances.
Addiction Resource Center knows that, sadly, military personnel are more affected by mental illness and addiction issues than the general population – with as many as 44% of recently returned US soldiers suffering from substance abuse issues. The trusted clinic also knows service members often have lower recovery rates, which owes to an ongoing culture of silence in the military and to the organization’s ‘warrior ethos,’ which often leads soldiers to reject help.
That’s why Addiction Resource Center wants to make it easier for active personnel to get help, and to do so confidentially, affordably, and swiftly.
Their spokesperson said, “We understand the stigma that often surrounds addiction in the military. Our program offers a confidential and judgment-free environment, ensuring your privacy and dignity are respected every step of the way.”
Addiction Resource Center is located at 1002 Live Oak Boulevard in Yuba City, California.
Their spokesperson added, “We’ve been helping individuals and families overcome addiction with over 50 years of combined experience in evidence-based care.”
